I have 28yrs exp and am looking at Maverick TCD. I live in Arlington TX. From the hiring area it shows that I am maybe 10-15 miles from where it stops in the Dallas area for TCD hiring area. I will call Monday to find out if I am close enough
had a few questions. Do they run much in TX? Will it be hard to get home?
if you stay out two weeks do you get the weekend off or is it just 34hrs? If you stay out 4 weeks do you get 4-5 days off?
i am a driver trainer now, what does maverick pay the trainers?
is the detention time paid after 1 or 2 hrs and how much is it?
Thank you

I can't answer all your questions as I am in flatbed but it is my understanding that TCD is basically 1 day off for every week out with no limit. So 4 weeks out, 4 days off. 8 weeks out, 8 days off and so forth. -
I live in Forney Texas n the only time I see that state is when I go home. I go out for 3 weeks n take 3-4 days off. Most times they get me home a day early or early that morning for my time off. Detention is 3 hrs payong 15$. Breakdown pay is 165$ a day or 15$ / hr. I am averaging 2600-2900 miles a week

They are going to be first choice when i start my cdl school here in a few weeks. They said you start out at .35 and after 3 months bumped up to .37cpm. All trucks are 2010 and newer cascadias and have apu's with inverters. To me sounds like one of the best options out there for new students and drivers!

Averitt starts students out at 36 or .37 and they have real APU not the battery APU
