Hey, i am not exactly new to the industry, i worked a support role at New Century Transportation, I did yard refueling until about 7 months before they went bankrupt, i was a company employee, not a contractor.

Just thought i would say hello, and see what happens.

I would say that you made the right choice by going to Maverick from all that I've read on the forum over the last several years. The have good reviews from the drivers, and their equipment is kept in nice shape and updated often.
Good luck with your new venture. Welcome to OTR.

Thank you, I went with them due to my instructors at school recomending them, one of the top three they recomend too. I just got my CDL, despite driving a fuel truck before. (No hazmat/CDL needed, private property type stuff) so i do have some experience behind the wheel. In driving school they had me take a truck (empty 48ft trailer, sleeper cab Columbia) To Philadelphia Via I-95 from around Trenton. So I have a taste of the behind the wheel on the interstate.

I've been on vacation. I drove by Maverick in Arkansas today on my way back to Tennessee.. They have some nice, clean, new looking trucks parked out in front of their headquarters.
