I'm thinking about starting with maverick and have a few questions:

    1) What is the pay like? Cents per mile? Average gross pay for company driver?
    2) Do the trucks have APU's and allow inverters?
    3) What do you like most about maverick?
    4) What is your biggest complaint?
    5) Do you get to run all 48 states?

Thanks in advance for your feedback!

1: 35-40 for new drivers. Depending on Division.
2: All trucks have EPU's and Inverters, standard. No having to buy your own and have them install it.
3: I like how they have a family feel, i have just started and waiting for a trainer.
4: No real complaints yet, they seem to be pretty fair about everything
5: Depending on Division, I am a Temperature Controlled Division (TCD) Student, as such i can run all 48 states, plus canada. Glass does all 48+Canada too. Flatbed may be more limited, but you can do all 48 states. TCD will be the most likely to do it though.

Thanks for the info. Sounds promising! Are the trucks in tcd all midroof? I'm 6"3. Will I be able to stand in them? Does tcd start at 35 cents?

All the trucks are mid-roof, and no you won't be able to stand up in them, i am 5 foot 10 and it is a bit short in there, but they are not short cab, so there is room to sprawl out.

TCD starts at 35 cents per mile.

I'm 6'6" and I can stand up just fine in my mid-roof Cascadia.

I have yet to try a Cascadia, i was going off the Century series mid-roof at my driving school.

The trucks are great tho. the company is on top of maintence of em and does not buy cheap ones.

There isn't any chance of you NOT getting a cascadia.

All of their trucks are 2011+ DD15 Cascadia with automatic transmissions, 10 speed like a manual truck, but with an automatic clutch and shifter.

All come with standard inverters, spot for a fridge, 23 inch or 24 inch tv, not sure of the exact size, you provide the fridge tv and CB, but they will put it in for you at no cost. You cannot install your own CB though, it requires special wiring, and they do not want it to be messed up as they cycle the trucks out before they get too much wear.

I'm 6'2" and don't come close to hitting my head on the mid-roof Cascadias. Also, you'll be hard pressed to find any of the 2011's as these are being sold and replaced with 2015 trucks. (With the exception of our trainer trucks and a few stragglers the fleet is 2012 and newer.) With regard to the CB install, just bring it with you to the shop and they install it. (No charge to you.)

    Good luck!

Cool cool...sounds really good! How are the miles for tcd? Would I be able to drive during the day most of the time? Like 4 am to 10 pm window. I know I will there will be overnight runs but am hoping to keep those to a minimum especially if I'm awake all day before.
