My husband had his "evaluate out of the trainer's truck" testing on the 10th of October, 2011 and he said the driving test took place in a simulator. He told me that before he actually took it so I told him "Make sure not to mow down the little girl! Just think of her as if she was your niece at that age rather than as a bunch of bytes!"

My first day of E-logging...I kinda like it.
All you have to do is remember to pick that thing up and change your status to off duty when you stop somewhere...change it back to on duty, do a load check...get in the truck and drive until its time to do it again.
Pretty simple...
Oh...and remember to go from off duty to sleeper berth, LOL.Last edited by Ridgerunner665; 10.12.2011 at 10.15 PM.

Dan is right, all I did was a short drive and back to the yard. Though that was 7 months ago. I don't think it would have changed. If they make you drive by that Pilot don't do like some people do... If you are turning left or right getting onto Valentine Road and it is backed up due to trucks trying to get fuel.. Don't go around to the left of the trucks and pass them. That will get you failed every time. Just sit at the light and wait for it to clear, unless your instructor tells you to pass them. I have set at that light so long that my truck was buzzing on me because the blinker had been on for so long.
