Surgoinsville is not a very big town...only about 1,300 people...odds are Hartsock is related to Tim. -
Odds are pretty good. I have only been there once...in a snow storm in 1996. I met Tim in Ridgecrest, CA while working for NAWS China Lake.
Here's a picture of him back then. Would you believe he held the transmission up in that truck with his bare hands while I attempted to get the bolts in to secure it back to the motor? We traveled across country from CA to TN with a Honda Odyssey on top and a gas welder in tow.Attached Files:

Hehe, there's the best shot I have while still in CA. The tail end is dragging from an old manual spun pottery table, the Honda, and everything else he owned in the bed of that truck.

Well I been on elogs since I got my truck with Maverick and I have had 3k weeks several times, ran legal, had my showers and I got home (most of the time). However, the weeks I got those miles, everything had to fall in to place just right. Being at the shipper/consignee waiting to unload/load, getting to the next place and be unloaded/loaded quickly. I just dropped a 1192 mile run tonight in Eau Clair, WI and am on a work assignment that pays 1296 miles that delivers to North Carolina for Wednesday. If you want the proof, I got it all right here on the QC. I never said that my friend got home on the weekends while he drives for TCD. He goes home once per month. Im not trying to start an argument, but I know what I drive and what miles I get. Yes some weeks I get 1500 mile weeks. Like last week, I only got 1963 miles. I try to get 2400mi/week. Sometimes its more sometimes its not, if I get home great, if I don't I will get home the next; it's part of it.

One of those snow storms in 1996 was a big one...the roads were crap for a week or more.
I don't recognize him, but will keep an eye out for him. -
