I kinda figured -
Are mavericks trucks governed at 55mph?
Does mavericks auto breaking system kick in all the time ,as in will I ever need to break well on the express way etc ?
Some guy said they installed cameras on the side of truck or something ,what was that about ?
Are mavricks all auto with a optional manual tranny ?If you choose manual is how well you shift loged and transmited to maveric for review? -
As tight of a ship they run, if they bring u to orientation hope they don't see ur thread about being scared u ran someone off the road
tangerineGT and JimTheHut Thank this. -
I always thought maverick trucks were set at 65 mph. ( could be wrong tho )
Most of those " auto braking " systems work while the cruise is on and or the system senses a impact. ( also could be wrong again ) but that how my onguard is set . -
I don't think that Mavericks trucks governed at 55. I pull heavy haul and loaded I go 55-60 and I have had them pass me. What little experience that I have with the auto breaking system, it is only active when you have the cruise control on. It will break for you when you are a certain distance away, when your farther away it will increase your speed to what the cruise control is set at.
I hope that this helps you out on these two questions. Like I said I don't work for them but I do like to help out when I'm able to, so I apologize I'm not able to answer the last 2 questions for you. -
The trucks are goverened at 65.....The on guard system picks up the vehicle in front of you at 400 feet and by 200 feet it will match your speed to its speed when the cruise is on. When the cruise is off, it will start beeping a warning at you and will apply the brakes to prevent a collision.
The lane departure system has cameras and when you cross the white line on either side, with out the turn signal on, you will hear a loud rumble strip sound through the speakers on the side that you cross.
As far as wanting to drive the vehicle and allow the system to brake for you, I hope you are only joking in order to get a reaction. If you are serious I can say with all certainity, that Maverick would not be a good fit for you.
Hope I covered all of the questions.sbarber7973 and jxu417 Thank this. -
