Im in CDL school now and should hear from TMC and Maverick by the end of the week with an offer. I'm leaning toward Maverick for the auto's. I'm learning manual in school but for me it's about overall enjoyment of driving and concentrating on other driving tasks, less about shifting. It sounds like I couldn't go wrong with either company, would you agree?

I won't lie to you. I'm certainly biased and will say Maverick is better, but I know guys who are die-hard TMC drivers, too, so they can't be all that bad. Check out Dale Clay's vlog on youtube. He's a new Mav driver and is very open and unbiased in his review of trucker life in Maverick. Good luck whichever way you go.

the autos are good, but make sure you take your CDL exam with a manual, otherwise you will have the auto only restriction. will make it hard if you have to drive a manual rental.

I discovered his vlog a few days ago and have really enjoyed them. Professional and great info for anyone thinking about Maverick or the process in general as a new driver. Thanks!

Tmc is a good company and could be very successful there. I do believe that Maverick is my driver friendly.

    jamespgh Thanks this.
