Just asking what the "Glass Division" is with maverick. Is it box, flatbed. Just asking so I know potentially what to expect.

    Thanks

Glass division is modified flatbed. A flatbed with special glass racks to hold the glass. Google it or look on Mavericks page.

I was on the glass division with Schneider before Maverick took it from them. Its mostly flatbed using A frame racks or double drop trls with built in large A frame for the bigger flat glass. You probably need to live near one of the glass plants for those accounts but you can ask them.

It is a flatbed/stepdeck division. They have glass racks on their trailers so they can haul the plates of glass. They are in the center of the trailer and look like a big triangle covered with a tarp.

ok I see. I'm just over thinking stuff again. Part of my old job habits. Loss prevention, so I over analyze everything. I'm the type that has learned to think 15 steps ahead to find an issue.

yep I'm in the hiring area. Recruiter girl asked if I would be interested in the "glass division" when I talked to her. Wasnt' sure what it was. I need a starting point so glass is as good as anything.

I just worry more about the company keeping their word on home time and pay more than anything else. But being an fng I guess I can't be picky.

Glass is our highest paid division. you will be out 12 to 14 days. There will be times when you will be out for three weeks. You will run all 48 states and Canada. in 5 years of employment, they have never lied to me, my pay check has always been right, and they got me home for every time off request. They also got me home for two emergencies with my parents. They are the best company I have ever worked for in any capacity!

    Campitor and tman423 Thank this.
