Me being single with no kids might think a good living is a lot less than someone with a family.
btw did you get on with May?
On a side note anyone know if they hire out of GA? -
You would have to live very close to the Pensacola terminal
to make it work for you. Cant take truck home for your H/T. -
This school offers up MAY applications to it's students, so I would imagine that May must be willing to hire drivers from the metro Atlanta area.
Are there drop yards that would support home time for drivers from GA? I constantly see MAY trucks on I285 and I20. It would be nice to know what I can expect. MAY sounds like a solid outfit. -
They are also willing to hire drivers from PA, so I would think they must have locations to park the trucks. Since this is an ask the trainer thread, I sure wish he'd chime in on this one.

Wow you guys are harsh....
As far as I know there are no drop yards in GA or PA. There may be ones there that they only let locals use. I would assume they have you park at a truck stop. When you apply, ask your recruiter.Wedge Thanks this. -
They do have good freight going to the Atlanta area, and I have been through PA about 4-5 times the last couple months. Mostly on the PA turnpike but I have been up on the 80 a few times too.
Wedge Thanks this. -
Seriously, my apologies if I was a little rude.
