I will try and use this thread instead of hijacking others. If you have any questions that I can answer, I will do my best. Or, if there are other May drivers lurking around, perhaps they can help answer too.

The drive test is a simple drive with the safety guy at whatever terminal you are doing orientation at. The test is to see if you know the basics. Just don't do anything stupid ie. shift over railroad tracks, turn from the wrong lane or don't use your turn signal.

The Denver yard is not too bad. A bit dusty at times since it is a dirt lot, but all the terminals besides Brooks are dirt.

I do get through Denver every few weeks or so. It all depends on the loads you get.

I am not sure. I do know they have good freight through Albuquerque on I-40. Call Amanda in Denver at 1-888-530-7030.

My guess would be No to the N.M. area To far from any terminal
and no place safe to park a truck...
But, like Efon says-call to get the info from May direct...
I know Albuquerque was Not a good place to be sent with a dry
load. Not much coming out of that town.....

I have a class A CDL that I got from Roadmasters in Utah. I went to drive for Watkins Shepard right of school. I drove for them for six months and due to personal issue had to quit. I am now wanting to get back to driving, they won't hire me back due to the time away from trucking. I have been away for about 18 months. They told me to go back to school again, which is $5k or work for another company for a bit. My question is will May Trucking require me to go back to school to work for them? I am not willing to pay another $5k to get a CDL that I already have. Thanks.

Only way to know for sure is to call them..
I was out of a truck for about 9 months and all i did was pass the
driving test and 3 days later i was issued a truck.

    Everett Thanks this.
