    edit...just saw your post...
Good for you, if you're happy, but I'll stay a company sheep, and not eat the depreciation on that truck either.
I know plenty of company drivers (although not with MAY lol) that make over $75k...

I get better fuel milage with my truck NOT Governed. It's on how you drive the truck. Also... You throw numbers out there. It's easy to say anything when you don't do it.

The OWNER of the Company makes MORE than the Employee ...

I am happy I have my own business and my own truck... I make more and can go home when I want and basically do what I want.

Untill you are an Owner/Op .. there really isnt much you can say about it. I run a succsesfull business ..

    lol
says the person calling everyone who drives for the company 'sheep'

I never 'dissed' you, I was just calling you on the typical owner op "I make $175k/yr"

I never begrudge anyone making their way, all I ever said was for the risk of things going south, I'll take my $55-60k and be happy and stress free, while you said anyone who ever worked for anyone else was a sheep and stupid for doing it.
Any employer who lets ANY employee make more than him is a fool, and will soon be out of business.

BTW, welcome to the board lol

    Trucker Steve Thanks this.

You have to understand ..when an O/O says they Gross 175k, its like you saying you Gross 50K ... after expenses and taxes and everything .. the O/O that runs a sucessfull busines makes more ... Its Obvious or there woulnt be Trucking companies to hire drivers.

The Wolf/Sheep thing is a Mental Attitude to be agressive in business not passive. NOT a burn to people that work for someone.

BTW .. I NEVER said anyone that works for someone is "Stupid" .. I said "Sheep" .. A sheep is content with its life. A "Wolf" wants more and is willing to take a Risk to get more.. As I said before, it's a Mental Attitude for a sucsessfull business ..

If u are a solo driver u will go broke...the only way to make money each and every week is to team.they get priority on all Armstrong loads and that is were u get ur miles..also if u did end up sitting for whatever reason it does not hurt u so bad as a team to make up the miles.
