A friend of mine that works for Swift told me that he has hauled these tater loads and that the receiver uses a scooper machine in the trailer to get 'em out. He said it's like mashed potatoes on the trailer floor when they're done.

So there's a trailer washout in my near future. Or does McCain in Plover do it that way as well?

old dry vans were not meant to have 50000 loose spuds on them going thru the minefield of NYC

i ran into someone that had a load of taters, but the receiver didnt have that machine to empty it, he showed me a pic of them dangling the trailer on a cable by the front, guessing its not from the kingpin but the pic was kinda dark. either way, that thing was lifted into the air from the front so the taters would just roll out

Maybe they have a ramp you drive up at a steep angle then come down in reverse real fast and slam on your brakes real hard...with your trailer doors open, of course

And if one is missing, the company will take the cost of the tater out of your check! In weekly installments if you can't afford it all at once, copy...
