love this thread... just finished my year at May and gave notice... brought truck to Terminal for turn in... Man... you would have thought I had the plague. Not only was no one interested in doing a final check out of my truck... but the driver manager just said to leave the keys in the lounge... not a word about how I did... or if I would be coming back.... I gave legit Reason (Family) and plenty notice.... didn't even ask for transport home... payed my own way... not even a goodbye....

I am growing more and more convinced that May really doesn't want drivers with more than a year experience, that it just does not fit their business model.
But the open hostility towards drivers from the Brooks staff, I think that someone in upper management is modeling that behavior. Why else? They do little to conceal their dislike of us. -
Oh-yeah,i,ve worked for them for 15 months ,put in 2wks. Notices.they were like ready to get ya gone quick.they,re not bad to work for,each termenal is different ,i was out of pensicola,good folks,you have good/bad days,remenber this it,s not a job.it,s everyday b/s you deal with and you will,so take it as it come,so now left for greener days ahead.

you should have an annual review after 1 year, I would talk to management about a new DM, as far as safety talking to you about early driving, never heard of that before.
