When I was driving for May, my father flies small air planes and had an airplane hanger on private property right next to the airport that he owned. At first my DM told me I had to park at the local Pilot truck stop during home time, but my fathers airplane hanger was less than a mile from the truck stop so I started parking my tractor/trailer there because there was a bathroom with a shower and a small break room with a microwave ect...free showers and a break room!

There were outside photo cell switched lights that were normally off at night, but I asked my dad if I could turn on the breakers when I was parking there so there was light at night. Also there was TSA security that patrolled the airport fence permitter 24/7. Plus there was a big turn around for trucks at the end of the road and I could park next to the building. After I explained all this to my DM he OK'd that I could start parking there, but it took a couple of week of parking at the truck stop first.

I elaborated some too and said the area was fenced, which it was but there was no gate. I also remember that I mentioned there were attack dogs on duty at the property. :biggrin_25522:

Another May driver told me he was parking in front of his house and the neighbors were complaining to May. I think as long as your not parking in a residential area it might be OK'd by your DM.
