Hey BLAZER and blwjr, just take your time on the road and yard tests. I went to IITR in Redmond and was intimidated by the 53' trlrs at May. We only used pup trlrs at school. Don't get overstressed about using different equipment. The mechanics are the same. Square off your corners and keep your engine rpm's low. Check your mirrors alot. Read and obey all road signs. The road test goes quite quick. It's not that much different then your CDL test. The testers want to see that you don't lose your composure. Stay calm, think it out. Best wishes to you folks.
BlazerBrad and blwjr Thank this. -

My advice to all may newbies is look for another job this company is a freakin joke. They do not give a rats ### about anything except the load you are under. Every thing goes smooth in training but when you go solo all the sudden you notice no more long trips dispatch mistakes on 3 of 5 loads your truck is going to be a pile of #### and they will not fix anything while u are under dispatch. Hometime sucks no dedicated routes but they are needed badly.
