I was told by a leaseholder pal that (when he changed from company driver to lease holder) the shop removed the governor. (Lease holders pay for their own fuel and speeding tickets)jonny 77 Thanks this. -

I live in Stockton, CA. and am strongly considering May as my first trucking job. Did you say they have a Lathrop drop yard? Would that be where I'd leave my car and truck when on home time? I thought I'd be leaving it in Yolo which is my main deterant to going with May.
