"To be more helpful: after I was done with my training and "solo'd out", I took off four days of hometime so that I could eat real food, do my laundry and, uh, play pattycake with my girlfriend"

I would assume the best part of going home was playing patty cakes...lol,

man, that heat must suck...understanding the circumstances how would you go about idling to run ac?...I feel for you guys cause I`m from a mild temp area and anything over 75 degrees is HOT

"No team here 2 weeks ago I had 4179 miles on my check everything just worked out right and yes I try to run 600 miles a day the best I've did is 660.9 miles"..
man blwjr....that`s some good runs!...and now totally understand how to go about
    after training,

    Thank`s guys!

    blwjr Thanks this.

I'm from the Bay Area. When it gets over 75 degrees, we shut down everything, close the schools, call out the National Guard, declare a public holiday and refuse to wear pants.

    GranaRig831 and blwjr Thank this.

No stops? No shippers, no receivers, no fuel, no food? Just doesn't pencil out for me.

do 48 or 11 drivers roll through Brooks often?

anyone know if May west 11 trucks roll or dispatched through the Beaverton/Tigard area outside of Portland?

I think I read somewhere in threads that upon completion of training May gives drivers a Co. baseball cap??

Yes, I get to Brooks every couple of weeks, whether I like it or not. We fuel up there if we are anywhere nearby.

After orientation, everyone gets a spiffy May baseball cap and a swift kick in the pants.

    GranaRig831 Thanks this.

for a driver doing west 11...do you think whenever fueling up the driver would gain enough shower credits for daily(if time allows) or at least every other day showers?
or should I expect to have to pay for some of my own showers?
    Thanks!
