As far as trucks go yes I fear you are correct... I also heard they are phasing out the peterbilts. Ive heard a lot of guys say they will quit if they take their pete... we all love them. Me personally I will probably just lease mine out...

True but my point is that they are your only direct human contact with the company and if they are having a bad day they may take it out on you. This is true at any company but I feel like for the most part we have friendly staff at may.

I would not mind driving older model trucks at all. As long as they are safe to drive, mechanically sound, all the electrical and electronics is in good working order, and can pass any and all D.O.T. level 1 inspections, it does not matter how old the trucks are.

I'm a may driver and trainer and may is gonna go all auto, as far as for the fuel mileage it's a bunch of bull as to getting better mileage on the autos, every driver I talk to and look on their quallcomm says the best milage is 6.8 miles a gallon, I'm in a 13 manual and I avarice no less than 7.5 mostly around 7.8 to 8.3 a gallon sometimes 8.5 a gallon.
I don't like and told may I will pack my toys up and go home the day they try to put me in a auto. I want control of what gear I want and when to shift. I don't feel safe in a auto. To me auto Trans no more belong in b a big truck than a diesel belongs in a BMW.
