It isn't always though....During summer months, there are days you get there and barely get your equipment off old load when they're calling you to office for a new one.

We may not always get 3000 a week, but less than 2000 doesn't happen much, and with all the tarp pays added, plus the higher rates, we make the same without all the hassles of cold storage warehouses and walmart dc's

Sounds tempting but I' m not jumping ship just yet. I' m almost caught up on bills and reefer freight isn' t that bad. I' m looking too pull tanker though so i put in an app for trucker reports tanker thing and melton was calling me for some reason. The camera pointed at you is creepy though i will admit.

Don't buy into the babble. They are NOT putting the cameras in to every truck. It's too expensive.

But you do wait to load and get unloaded sometimes. Don't lie! I pulled for Melton. And you don't have the Hassel of cold storage? And what do you call all the tarping the securing and tarping? A good time? You work outside in rain, snow sleet, and extreme heat. Very dangerous conditions. Having to put padding on so you don't rip the tarp. Or edge protectors. You have to climb on top of loads, hang onto the side of loads. You make it sound like a picnic. I no Hassel lol bring home 700,800 a week for all that work. No thanks I'll bump the dock and take a nap in my very comfortable truck. And you forgot to mention with all the extra tarping you be doing to make up for the lack of miles. You get to put fold and put them away after you unload. LOL a bug Hassel. In the rain snow heat and ice. They way over 100 pounds wet and there's 3. Plus all the bungies, straps, and or chains. But no Hassel rite? Lol

It's ok. You're a lazy driver, so we don't mind you going back to swinging doors. Some of us came to flatbed BECAUSE of the challenges. Tarping in the weather. Padding so you don't tear your tarps. The exercise of throwing straps and chains. The little extra work we have to do.

That's ok. Go be your lazy self and swing doors. We don't mind. :)
