melton 2014 update

I'm just curious here but what is a road snitch ?

 

Guys who will take pictures of your load, call safety, send messages and get you in to trouble for doing something wrong/improper without so much as coming up to talk to you to show you how to do it the right way. Instead of helping you out and correcting what you're doing wrong, they just call the safety guys and get you in to trouble so they get their bonuses or whatever they get.

also does melton give student graduates time to get used to the swing of things and get adjusted once there on there own? I might have a shoot with melton im in school right now and HAVE NEVER DROVE A TRUCK BEFORE im positive I can do it but I also know it will take time to adjust and get in the swing of things once I go solo

 

You'll spend some time with another driver who will show you the ropes. You won't be on your own fresh out of school.

 

yes I know that but I was talking about once you do get out on your own do they give u time to adjust for that before they really start breathing down your neck ?I mean being out with a trainer/mentor and being out on your own are 2 different things

 

You'll be in a training fleet for at least a couple of weeks where they kind of coach you along. There are plenty of other drivers out there who will help you if you ask, too. I haven't had too much difficulty adjusting with all the help I've gotten.

I've never encountered a road snitch I know they are out there. I will talk to more senior drivers when loading if it's something I've never done before.

 

how do you know if you encounter one there not going to walk up and say hello I'm Mr road snitch
