Thats what I had assumed. It would only make sense. The recruiter Elizabeth called me today to check in and I asked her to make sure. She said that she knows of the particular post that I am talking about, and said that just about everyone laughed at the statement.

Yea I asked them before I came over as well when I saw the post. Had to make sure I wasn't jumping in to the 1099 frying pan again.

Hello everyone! Been awhile since I've updated I haven't forgotten just staying busy out on the road!
I'm still in the training process and probably will be for the 21 days. I'm getting smoother at shifting still have a few problems but my trainer said that just comes with more and more practice. I had lots of rainy day driving and even some light snow driving too.
We don't seem to have any problems with each other. He tells me how to fix my mistakes. Not a bunch of yelling at me, more of explaining.
I've had 3 tarp loads and 3 untarped. Getting use to the process but I'm sure I'll have my own way of doing things.
Lots of miles so far. Like I said I'll have to see if that holds true once I'm on my own.
That's it so far, getting used to the road. I'll update again soon.Rollr4872 and MrBolton88 Thank this. -
from what I have been told from schieder drivers...its a huge company the pay is much lower. . try to talk to drivers to get the real story. for every bad comment there are good. i know they keep there trucks for almost 900,000 miles

When you're driving, are you double clutching like in school, or are you floating the gears? Spoke with Elizabeth again today and was asking her that, and she said its entirely up to the drivers how they want to drive, but did say that floating definitely saves on the clutch maintenance and has shown to get better fuel economy.
