I think all the trucks have Cummins with 10 speeds with a few autos. We have 2.64 rear ends and I think that kills our speed going up hill. Plus I barely run less then 40k.

It's the seal around the latch, mine does it. It's thin and flimsy just shove something there and poof it's gone.

Well it is Thursday but another week is down. I started my week from Mocksville, NC completing a restart. Sunday I drove down to Irmo, SC and stayed the night at the shipper. Woke up in the morning to a yard dog driving around in one gear. Serious one gear and it was probably second. No problem though, which pre-loaded trailer is mine? Of course the one with flat wood, tall windows, and the abs light on. LOL

Abs light actually went off before leaving shipper. The load was a horrible shape and covered in thin plastic. It was like being on ice trying to spread my tarp out. On the plus side other Melton drivers were there and looking out for each other.

I left Irmo, SC and drove down to Biloxi, MS for the night. After my ten I fueled and drove to San Antonio, TX. Spent the night in my bed and headed to Pleasanton, TX for delivery Wednesday morning. After deilvery I figured they would send me home even though it was 3 days early. I was wrong, I got sent to Laredo. I got to Laredo around 350pm dropped my trailer and got through safety. Normally I would of stuck my head around and found Flatbedn because I know he is down there but they threw a Houston load on me. I strapped the load no tarp, thank god it was 104 on the truck outside temp. Left Laredo at 5pm and headed to San Antonio.

After another night in my bed I drove to Houston for a 10 am delivery. After delivery I get sent home for home time. At first I was a little disappointed because there is no pay to dead head home and I had delivered 15 miles from home the day before but another 400 miles on next weeks pay check was helpful. And I still made it home by 4pm. I am home till Monday morning but only paying 2 days of home time because I only requested to be home Sat and Sun.

My miles for the week are right at 1800. Now some my say that sucks and it does but if I didn't go home, I would have till Monday to deliver another load putting me at 2800 plus? But I am glad to be home and be with the family. I saw the snow MN is getting which seems crazy 10-16 the next couple days. I'll take the 80-90 degree with this wknd in south TX.

Take care everyone, I will be back out Monday.

Yep it is April. I grew up in Wisconsin and cannot remember having that much snow in April or late March. At least they know how to deal with it. Good luck.
