I won't be home till Father's Day weekend and breaking it down like you do on my iPhone is to time consuming but this is my check for tomorrow. The settlement post on Wednesday. With flatbed the accessory pay really helps. I had $150 in tarp , detention, and layover pay. If you check out my blog you'll we my most recent post matches up with these numbers.

I like System they run a heck of a lot more west coast then us. Their equipment is the same except for the plastic chrome covers on our trucks. (Which is no reason to pick Melton) I had to untarp and retarp my load at the system yard in Spokane. The straps with the plastic coating were nice and the four foot drop tarps felt like they weighed half of my 8 foot drops. But Systems pay scale is on the lower end compared to other flatbed companies not just Melton's.

    DETENTION 45.00 1.00000 45.00 .00
    TRIP PAY 846 .35000 296.10 .00

Word on the street is you guys have Leather seats to :D, but this thread is not made to compare Melton to Systems. I commend you for doing all this typing and calculating on your Phone. I hate typing on my phone. Get yourself a laptop and a copy of Excel with that 1049.50 bucks. That's right on par with me as well though. Some higher, Some lower. My average was over $1000 until last month when i got this new dispatcher. He's great, but the loads just don't seem to be there anymore.

Not sure where you get we have mostly short haul ramblingman. Average length of haul for me is 1000 miles. I do between 700-1500 miles per load putting my average right at 1000. My checks gross between $1000-1400. Say what you will but after my insurance, extra taxes and 401k come out I'm still bringing between $700-900 home.

For the 3rd time in this thread... Post up some Concrete #'s so we can do a comparison.

When you get those 5 categories figured out let me know and then we can start to determine cause, but as it stands now we don't even have accurate test results from any Melton Drivers. That's what we need. I'd be happy to share my spreadsheets with anyone that would like to track their own #'s precisely instead of just guessing. If someone has a better Accounting System than mine i would be happy to check that out to.

They're vinyl seats but they're two tone, I guess they look nice but not leather.
