Pre-hire with melton

    I had a phone interview with melton today and i had a 2 month gap in my work history and they said it may be a big deal should i really be nervous about it affecting my pre-hire i was really wanting to work for melton when i get out of school but i am really nervous they are ganna turn me down for that gap

    TMC Pays more then melton and has a better training program...but theres nothign u can do about past employment gaps....just folllow up with them in a few days.

    Well hopefully they will give me the pre hire but she just made a big deal out of it i have never had that issue before but i think i find out tomorrow or Friday i have to call back tomorrow for something she really didn't say why but hopefully its good news

    I'm same age as you, I also had a 2 month employment gap. Mine was following a termination.

    They still said to come down to Tulsa the 28th. I doubt they'll kick you to the curb for that.

    I can't see them not hiring you guys for a 2 month gap. My gap was over 3 years long and that ended less than 2.5 years ago. I say don't worry about it.

    I was supposed to find out yesterday but the recruiter never called me back i think im just ganna say the heck with a pre hire with them and just wait till my frist week if school and fill out a application for melton maybe ill get a new recruiter
