Time off driver? NO! Its a privilege.

Do you mean you've been out 4 weeks and want to take the 4 days accumulated and some vacation days all in one hit?

Like first response depends on company. My company allows me to do that.

Well obviously Melton and wife planning on this 7 day cruise thing and not here long enough for 2 week vacation so I know I wouldn't be able to be back on road within that 7 day vacation period

Just call in sick a couple days if they won't let u use days accrued with vacation. Can't fire ya for it since you are required to be fit to drive.

I think its a matter of will that truck be parked at a secure location for that long of a period of time. Some companies will try to get you home early Friday so you can have the full weekend before you start vacation and the weekend afterwards

Melton will let you take up to 14 days without turning in your truck. I don't know the answer, but I'd bet my check that you can take your week of vacation + saved hometime. I took 14 days from Christmas thru new years last years, all of it was saved hometime tho. Not a question asked.
