I got the green light to go melton in 2 weeks

Good luck to you runwme, I just got done with orientation last Monday and on the trainer's truck now. We're actually here at the Tulsa yard, my trainer is getting a brand new truck tomorrow. If you have any questions just shoot me a message on here, I have a very limited experience lol, but I'd be happy to answer any questions about orientation or being out with a trainer. I just got an email offering me $1500 to come back to Melton. Well, $1000 sign on bonus, $500 orientation pay...

Orientation pay is $500 now?! I only got $160 when I started!

 

from the recruitment info i got its 500 now, but also its 8 days instead of 4.

 

Looks like the tulsa yard has about 100 new 660 and 680s here waiting for drivers to cycle through and swap out.
Yesterday the 7 fellas in the class received Melton Id numbers and had a day in the field securing loads and tarping. Today it's back into the classroom.

They send all their staff through securement training. It was cool as we had a couple of recruitors in class yesterday who shared their perspective.

Thanks for the welcome, look forward to meeting you drivers out on the road. I'm glad to have made the choice to make Melton my trucking home.
