    hey noedavid
    i live in cali and they sent me to tulsa for orientation.

    you can take a pet with you ive seen plenty of others with pets, and yes spouse too. pet and rider policies. its not much per month.

    im from ca and always get sent east it seems. im out for 6-8 weeks at a time, pretty consistent 2800+ miles per week, for august i hit 3k every week, and that was running on recap hours so they keep you busy.

    Alright so here's an update, after going to cost miller motte and then realized i have a friends uncle who is an owner op. But contracts out himself, so I'm gonna learn from him. Pre trip and all the fun stuff and use his truck to take road test and get cdl for free essentially other then costs of test. And dot physical. But doing it this was would trucking companies higher me? That's my only issue

    Hey Bnrobot how long is training? How much do you get paid training? Ok thanks for the info. I think i will bw going to Melton. Since its a Flatbed do we need Hazmat?

    orientation is 2 weeks i think and $300 a week i believe. dont know about hazmat

    500 for orientation that is 8 days in tulsa.
    70$ per day you are on trainers truck (including weekends since technically you are working 7 days a week)

    and yes far as i know there is no time limit on rider. just fill out paperwork during orientation for your rider.
