Hey fellow Meltonites. I'm just curious how long you guys usually stay on the road between hometime? Especially west coast drivers.

Not west coast, but I typically stay out 8 wks. Kids are grown and gone. Wife put up with it while in the Navy, too.
rroney7768 Thanks this. -
I run all 48...generally stay out five weeks
rroney7768 Thanks this. -
Well, we all run all 48. Only reason i asked about west coast drivers is because im from the west coast. We have to give 2 weeks lead time for hometime requests and i was just curious what other west coasters did as far as time out on the road. Thanks HousTank

Im cali and do 4-8 weeks depending on whats goin on at home
rroney7768 Thanks this. -
What would home time be like for a Melton driver from Birmingham, and what is the rider policy like?
-
You have to stay out at least 2 wks. Rider policy is pretty liberal and on their web site.
knuckledragger and travelman Thank this. -
Two weeks out equals how many days off?
Thanks! -
West coast is 1 week out, 2 weeks to get you home, so minimum 3 weeks. Youll get 3 days off, 1 off every 7 days out
knuckledragger Thanks this.
