I think TMC is better for a couple of reasons. Better equipment, more freight, better pay structure.

Yeah Crossbreed if I was to go OTR it would be with either Melton or TMC.

I drive for Basic Energy Services. At least as long as they need my services hahaha. They are laying people off left and right and I am short on seniority with them only being there 6 months but am the second highest generator of revenue in the yard so it's a toss up whether I will get the pink slip in my mind.

I do still like it though and if I can't stay here, I will move to a smaller company that does pad construction and and pit closures. They have WAY less overhead so they aren't strained like basic is with the economy slumping.

And I agree with you "if" choices. If I were to ever go back to OTR, it would be one of two ways, with TMC because if I am going to go broke, I may as well do it in a Pete or I would just buy my own truck, run my balls off, and go broke in style hahahaha.

Other than that, I will stick with the oil field work as long as it's available.

I went on an application spree today, put in with 5 companies and Melton was one of them. I already have a pre-hire with TMC but I'd like to have some options.

I've been in Texas now almost two weeks and I have filled out dozens of applications. Melton was my first choice if I had to go back OTR. However, I have possible found a "decent" driving job locally. I am suppose to leave for orientation tomorrow. If things don't work out I'll be heading to Melton on the 19th.

Hey Crossbreed - any news yet out of Tulsa, how are things going?
