I won't even try to buy a steak at any T/S. I'll hit the grocery and cook it myself on my electric skillet - saves money and usually I make a dang good steak!

Yea, I think the blue eyed waitress added the flavor to the steak! When we were in orientation we heard of two Millis accidents. The one you guys just mentioned and another fatality where some guy was being arrested for DWI. After the cop handcuffed him he ran out into a lane of traffic and was struck by a Millis truck. Not sure where it happened.

OMG...that poor driver. That incident still may affect him, even though there was probably nothing he could had done.

Yes you got to feel really bad for that driver. You know he wasnt expecting that at all. My instructor in WI said the student that was hit by the lady who was trying to pass on the ice and snow quit too. You just never know.....

I heard the one on the OH Turnpike was my trainer, still trying to verify that though. You never know what's going to happen or when and that should instill to be alert at all times and slow down when circumstances get fuzzy.

About these accidents..as of now its my understanding that CSA doesn't recognize who's fault it was. It just goes on your record as an accident. They say they're trying to develop a system that takes fault into consideration....gee, they make it sound like rocket science!

I posted this on another thread but thought it was note worthy here and a reminder to never let your guard down....

I was 1.5 miles from house Wed. after 8 weeks out and I make a left hand turn with a car at the stop sign. well... as I get the tractor in the lane I look into the driver mirror and Slam on the Brakes! The woman had started forward after my tractor made the turn and I stopped the tandems about a foot from her bumper. hopefully she learned a lesson but I'm sure there are a thousand others like her. ps. she can move fast in reverse once she finds the gear! lol! Needless to say, I felt fortunate afterwards thinking how that would have ruined my day.
