I've never had the coffee in the restaurant, just the store. I bought one of those mugs from each the T/A and Pilot cuz the refills are the price of a small coffee. I drink a lot of coffee so I save a few cents on them.

I've had several WOMEN pull up too close as I'm making a turn. You would think they could figure out "big truck, tight turn, in my lane, maybe I should back up". lol

 

I swear - it makes me want to get a few reflective & magnetic (so I can take them from trailer to trailer/truck as needed) signs made. One that says 'Student Driver - Just Graduated - CAUTION' & 'MY TRUCK IS REGULATED TO 60 M.P.H. - - GO AROUND' and leave both on for about two years after I make it past OTR training.

 

the accident where the guy ran out in the road and got killed happened just south of atlanta on 75 south

 

They sent a message yesterday about it but if your qualcomm had turned off you wouldn't get the message. I never got it either when I left the house yesterday headed up to Ohio a buddy of mine called and told me about it.

 

yea it wasnt a pretty sight..... sad thing is i slept thru it all.... just ask Baritone.... he probably wont let me down for sleeping thru all that ruckus...lol.... Story is i wokeup at like 1am the morning before and started rolling at 2:15am.... drove all day and ended up parking at Trenton terminal around 4pm or something... i stayed up for awhile that night and finally went to sleep around midnight or so...... so i ended up waking up around 7 or so and opened my certains and found David and Kirk parked next to me and then i noticed the fire trucks and everyone out in front of me.....so i had to ask.."Whats going on???" .... i didnt think i was going to hear the end of it....lol.... slept thru ALL of it.... usually i sleep 5 to 6 hours and wake up to the slightest sound but not that morning...lol.. just had to share this story

 

Had that last night, but I could go for it again.

 

Sounds like me, I sometimes slept through the LOUD tones while at the Fire station, someone would run back in to wake me.
Its usually pretty loud around a fire scene so I guess you were sleeping soundly.. lol
