So my clutch started going out on my T2000 earlier this week when i was on my way to John Deere in Horicon, WI. from Birmingham, AL....i managed to make my delivery in Horicon then bobtailed to Richfield Terminal and by this time i could hardly find neutral....all it wanted to do is grind when i tried putting it in gear..... so i woke up Wednesday morning and the truck would even start.....nothing new...I go thru this problem all the time with that truck....so let my dispatcher know the truck was down...he called me later that afternoon and wanted to know if i wanted to run some loads in a loaner truck...of course i jumped on that..i wasnt about t sit in Richfield all weekend if i could avoid it....so i got assigned a T600 which was perfect because thats what i wanted from the start....so i ran a load from Richfield to Pottsville, PA and delivered at 0400AM this morning..then left from there at 11AM and went to Mountain Top, PAto pickup a load going to New Berlin, WI. that delivers Monday....i'm dropping it in Richfield tomorrow afternoon.... I asked my dispatcher if it was possible to stay in thi T600..it was a thumbs up.....so now i'm heading to Richfield and moving everything into my new home away from home. I'm moving out of Truck# 6062 and will now be in Truck # 7134.

I thought I wanted a T2 until I drove one. I really don't think you'd like it bear after being in a 600. Cascadia is a much better wide body truck.

Yea Sully I've heard the T6 is a better handling truck. I'm just thinking space and overhead bunk for a passenger, which I don't have. But I have been here long enough to make any such request anyway.

Unless you're rolling at night - why would you even need to note this? It's during your 10 hrs - Just make sure you dont leave for 10 actual hrs and all is good.

Well....welcome to the T6 club! I too drove a T2 for initial training and then again for 2 days as a loaner truck. Compared to the way my T6 rides and drives - I have no desire to ever have a T2. However I do miss the T2 turning radius and the room of course. But to have the comfortable ride in the T6 - I'd never give that up.
