I don't know about the hookup on the radio, my radio has an aux jack on it. For the antenna I found a flat spot above the sun visor on the outside that I super-glued a piece of velcro to and glued to the back of the xm antenna. Havent had any issues of it coming off in 7 months.

I am starting on July 18 in Richfield.

Any advice or recomendations for my new beginning?

    Anyone attending that class?

I would read through these threads first. They should answer most if not all questions you may have and also give you some sort of insight as to what we do, where we go, what it's like. Should you have a question you don't see in here, fire away. I know myself, Baritone and Sully try to be as helpful as possible. Not saying others are not helpful, just identifying us as "regulars" on this blog.

Wats up guys, havent posted on here in a while and just thought I'd give a update. Got to make it by the house today because I got a Monday am delivery time over at the Container Warehouse so thought I'd spend a lil time at the house. I got hometime in for next weekend so hopefully I'll get a full weekend next week here. Been on my own about 3 weeks in my own truck and I've mainly run the Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New York areas. Literally seems like im always on 80 or truckin across 70. Dont mind it one bit oh, after experiencing the dreaded 95 area two weeks ago around 5 o clock on friday. Literally took me half the day to get from Baltimore down to Richmond. Also delivered in Downtown Chicago at Chicago Carton friday mornin. Was pretty nervous about this one but my trainer gave me some awesome directions to go in and to leave and wasnt that bad at all. Seems like somedays all goes as planned and I just truck right along and somedays I just have issues and idk why, lol. Im sure after more and more time it will just gel together hopefully. Not really had and issues, did have one lil brush with a toll booth on 80 when leaving Ohio. Thought I was centered but apparently not, and had to stop and push my mirror back out. Its like they would make them things a lil wider for the big trucks than they do. All in all i still enjoy it and excited to keep learining and working on the small stuff. BTW Baritone, nice talking to ya bout a week ago up in Trenton man, always a pleasure to talk to Mr. Hollywood himself. Everybody be safe out there

I know exactly how you feel about 95. I hate that run. When I first started out I didnt think I would ever get out of the NE. But that changes as time goes on. Glad things are going well!

It was nice meeting you - Mr. Hollywood - I think not. I am just a regular guy trying to enjoy what I do.

Yea, I hear that. Honestly your videos were a major reason I decided to go with Millis and really gave me a feel for truckin before I even stepped foot in a truck. Very informative to what its really like out there

I hear ya. Baritones thread gave me the info I needed to make the right choice for me and now I know the other options would have been a nightmare for me personally and kudos to TR for allowing us to have this forum.

I'll leave you with this thought. If Baritone is the major reason you are coming to Millis you may consider putting him down on your application, you fill out hard copy at school, as your reference.

Thanks for saying that - I have always been one to be very loyal to the company I work for and so far Millis has made it easy for me.

It's no big deal to put my name down - What I have gotten most out of this blog is the friendships that I have made. Those to me are worth more than anything extra Millis could give!

    Stay safe!

I knew you would say that and I know you mean it. That's why I said it on your behalf. But we all know that is not why you are involved.
