The used truck market in WI is flooded with there old tucks and not a one of them has under 500k, most of them quite a bit more. So just know they run there trucks a long time. 500k isn't allot but it's more than many companies run them

What's wrong with a truck with over 500K? I just proves that Millis has miles to run. Up until this year Millis turned over trucks every 3 years. The truck I have now is an 07, when i got it Oct 06, it had 146 miles, now it has 165K. The truck before that was an 04, when i turned it in, it had 480K in 3 years.

nothing wrong with it. I've driven many trucks over a million miles but I owned them they were not co trucks

Hey guys my first post here. I am seriously thinking of going back into trucking after taking off the last 27 years LOL to raise a family. Millis seems like a very good company to work for and I would be interested to hear from any other Millis drivers on their experiences working for the company starting out fresh. Any one on here based in CT or the New England region? I would be going back to school through their training program as I let my CDL lapse many years ago. Do they run anything out west or is it mostly east of the Mississippi river runs currently?

Take Care,

90-99% is east of the mississippi. They have occasional runs to Cali, Texas and i believe Seattle.

btw they have a few more 08's in. KW T-800

Thanks for the reply! I just got off the phone with Millis regarding their school and training programs along with driving opportunities that they currently have available. I am still doing lots of research on trucking and have narrowed my choices to a few remaining companies that appear to be a good fit. Hopefully I will be restarting my driving career around the first of the year. Thanks in advance for any additional information from drivers on their Millis experiences.

Take Care,

Anyone Work For Millis?

They do haul scap metal and they also do broker loads , also they haul John Deere Parts and mowers .. and you can ask for runs west of the Miss. If they have them they will keep you in mind.

Thanks for the reply! Sounds like they have some decent miles and keep the drivers happy? Any negatives anyone can share from a personal viewpoint? They are probably my first choice at this point to get back on the road and I want to be well educated before making my final decision!

Take Care,
