Question about training...

I have applied to Millis Transfer and am currently waiting to see if they accept me. I already have my cdl but I have no experience. I was just wondering if they do refresher courses, or if I have to go all the way through school again?

 

Well that sucks. I was hoping I wasn't gonna have pay nearly ten grand for training. Oh well, guess I'll look somewhere else. Thanks Solo!

 

I got in Dec 2012. I had some family problems come up after I started school and rather than quitting halfway through, I went ahead a finished. I just couldn't turn loose of everything to go out on the road. I think CR England offers a 10 day refresher, but I don't think I've read one good thing about them. I guess I could make it work out for a while, just long enough to get some experience behind me.

 

I have already been through school once at a cost of $5000 so I really don't want to have to turn around and pay another 3 or 4 grand and go through it all over again. The only reason I'm considering CRE is because they offer a free 10 day refresher course.

 

I'll have to look at Schneider Bulk then. I do have my Tanker and Double and Triple Endorsements, So that might be the way to go.
