I'm thinking about starting with Millis and have a few questions:

    1) What is the pay like? Average gross pay for company driver?
    2) Do the trucks have APU's and allow inverters?
    3) What do you like most about Millis?
    4) What is your biggest complaint?
    5) Do you get to run all 48 states?

Thanks in advance for your feedback!

Millis runs mostly east of of I-35. Trucks are pretty nice, mostly Kenworths and I have seen Freightliners which I think might be regional trucks. Don't know if they have any Petes. Applied last Thursday, got my school confirmation paperwork today via email. Fairly quick process.
I'm sure the seasoned Millis drivers will be answering other questions for ya. Hope this helped some.

We run west but rarely. We have a few dedicated loads heading that way. I grossed $57,000 my first year as a company driver. That's without training! I run hard, and don't screw around when it comes to moving freight though. Our 680s have inverters installed factory. NO Apus, bunk heaters in winter, truck idles a reasonable amount of time in summer before they'll ever say anything. I like that they keep me moving and gives me the ability to train other drivers. After driving truck in the military training soldiers to drive, now training new drivers works well for me.

Millis will keep you loaded and moving. You come with a want to work attitude, be prepared to work 14 hours a day 7 days a week that's 98 hours a week for weeks on end. This job isn't easy, come prepared. Some days with your trainer will be longer than 14 hours a day I promise. For example it's Friday at 1430 CST and I have 2000 miles worth of freight to get off before Monday.

As far as freightliners go, mostly regional trucks yes. I'm in a full size freightliner, powderblue is too. Get with me when you are ready to train. I'll pick you up if I am able too.
