Would I have a chance at Millis?

We will find out. I filled out an application yesterday. I was told on the phone they have a class starting November 10th which would be too soon for me as I have a prior commitment the end of that first week. The next class after that wouldn't be until after New Years.

 

Got a voicemail today that I was accepted at Millis. I will be calling them back tomorrow for the details. I hadn't heard anything for a week; so when I called yesterday I found out they originally rejected me. I think since I already have a CDL they thought I was wanting to bypass the school and go straight into being a company driver. Where it also says position you are applying for, it says check all that apply. I thought I put company driver and student but apparently I just hit company driver. Anyway, its all cleared up now. The two ladies I spoke with were both very nice and helpful. I know one is named Gini.

My other plan was to go to the CDL school at Johnston Community College. But that wouldn't be until January since they are already into their final class this year. I might be able to start school in Eden with Millis in December.
