Oh no, I just was researching where I should go, trying to find funding for a local school etc. I have found a way to go to school locally hopefully starting next Monday. I was looking at all of the company sponsored schools and after seeing all of the negative reviews on most if not all of them, and the lack of many positive stories even on this site, I spent the last week or so pursuing any funding source I could find to keep from having to go the company school route. So, anyway, I found a way to go, and I feel that choosing a company on its new driver pay and treatment might be a better for me than just going with Swift,Millis, etc, and having to put up with whatever is thrown my way, just to keep from having to pay someone back. Someone on here actually told me if I go with CR England they would hunt me down....lol I will do a thread of my own experiences at the school, given the time to do so.

You guys do realize that all Millis trucks now have spycams in them, right?

The big video camera mounted on the windshield, facing you, doesn't just come on during "critical events" as they say it does. It comes on whenever they want to watch and hear you. It's very distracting.

I call it a spycam because it comes on at times they say it doesn't.

don,t really understand whats so bad abt the cameras etc if you do what your supposed to do such as stay the hell off the phone and don,t say that I,m a new breed driver I originally started driving in 1990 drove off and on since and with the disrespectful way some people drive I don,t blame companys that install all the spy equip.

A camera facing you is nothing more than something the company can use against you. 1 video taken out of text can make you look like a distracted or even an unsafe driver....now add 20 more 30 second videos, 50 more videos, however many they want to add then piss the company off and quit...they want to ruin your career? it's a done deal and there is nothing you can do about it. I just don't get how many of you guys are so willing to let a company or anyone else put you in a compromising position and even say its ok. And don't think company's dont try and ruin drivers...how many drivers have had ######## put on their DAC after they quit that is completely false...a bunch.

As for forward facing cameras, and even cameras facing the rear of the vehicle...I think anything with an engine that is legal to drive on a road should have them. But the driver facing cameras is ridiculous.

And you can bet that if drivers just left these company's with these cameras...they would get rid of them in a hurry. they will find take those cameras out. No drivers, freight doesn't move, and the company will tank. Issues like this is why Unions used to be a big thing.

The camera thing.... I am a new driver and could careless about the cameras. The drivers who piss and moan about them have something to hide. A lot of drivers I've spoken with don't care for them but just ignore them. Most have never heard nary a peep from BRF about their driving habits. The schools run year round, and they will just replace whiners with people who are willing to follow the rules. Everybody has rules. If you worked in an office or a factory, or even on a construction site, you would have a boss, or foreman. Just consider the cameras that and your just at a job the same as most. Thanks for making room for me with your quitting, I'll move up the ladder to better loads quicker.

the pay is .18 plus .10 to start plus.01 if you dont take the health insurance. thats perdiem and practical miles. after a year you get.02 raise. but they do have easliy reached mileage goals that adds to the cpm pay. i average about .39 cpm and i dont drive that hard. GREAT company.

You're a new driver...how would you know? And how dare you start telling other drivers, some with decades of experience, that they are just ######## and moaning.I drove for Millis and know quite a few that used to drive for them too....go back and read all the comments on Milliis and look where all those same Millis cheerleaders that said the same thing you're saying now....guess what...none of them are still there. I wonder why? Oh yeah, you're a new driver and they were all wrong. Talk about arrogant.
