It IS a fact that stats can be manipulated...the fact is...you have no clue. I realize you can only speak of that which you know but understand that others do as well and even though it doesn't agree with what Millis at Eden is telling you, they have lost a TON of older drivers, including a couple of walk out of over 25 drivers at one time...that's called a mass exodus.

I never said I knew all about trucking. I am merely asking for evidence of their manipulating the cameras in the manner that is being described here. Yet all you can do is retort with comments about my inexperience. Clearly you have no idea what you are taking about.

Look, nothing against you personally, but students come on here all the time with statements like: "I don't know why people are bashing US Express, so far they have treated me great."

As a new driver you might not know the difference between Millis and a good company, which is what Millis used to arguably be.

Like all other companies turned into CDL Mills, they are finding a way to make life and work inhospitable for those who still know how to function without a GPS or smartphone.

If you actually know things like Hours of Service regulations and state length and weight limits these companies will hate you.

I can't count the number of times I see 53' vans and reefers going down the road with the tandems yanked all the way back. Then they come on here and whine when Saint Croix or Hudson scale hangs them out to dry.

They want gerbils who will abide by the Quallcomm's every whim, who will accept rediculous company rules, without even knowing the actual laws. If you are intelligent and can think for yourself, you will have a hard life working for any bottom feeder like Millis.

I am not saying you are like that, since I dont know you from Adam. I am just saying that this is what the big companies are turning our industry into.

    All well put. Thank you...

I'll add that I have not drank the burgundy kool-aid. I signed on with Millis because they have the best hands on training out there. As far as the cameras go for me, there's not much I can do about it so I'll just have to deal with it.

Let me guess...Solo_Seat and WisconsinF150 also created Millis Transfer HATE Facebook groups too...you guys crack me up. So much time on your hands to bash companies, everyone else who could care less are too busy making a living. Personally, if I owned my own trucking company, I would have all this driver and road monitoring stuff in the trucks also....because, let's be honest...a lot of you guys shouldn't be in a truck in the 1st place and can't make a living being lazy any other way.

So, say Millis has 700 trucks, that's a guess, and they want to "spy" on every driver for, say, 15 minutes a day.
    700*15 is 10500 minutes
10500/60 is 175 hours per day.
Divide that by 3 (because you know they want to spy 24 hours), that is 58.3 hours per shift.
58.3/8 hour shift is 7.29 workers per shift 24 hours a day just to watch each driver . For 15 minutes a day.
Just trying to wrap my head around that.
The cameras are a fact of life, when you go to a shipper or a receiver, chances are you are on camera, when you shop at Wal-Mart, you're on camera. If you worked on an assembly line, driving a forklift, or flipping burgers, you're probably going to be on camera. If you can't handle being on camera, work somewhere else. I really don't understand why former drivers get on here and complain so much about Millis. You left, good for you, move on.

Millis, overall, is a good company. They've never lied to me and I do okay financially. Absolutely they do things occasionally that make me wonder what they're thinking, but all jobs do. You could do a lot worse than a career here. My two cents...bash away.
