Agree the cam is on driver to prove no doubt driver was in clear. Last two videos I have saw the driver was on 2 lane and cross over hit Millis truck yea cam proved driver not at fault but a lawyer say does not prove your driver wasn't distracted and could have avoided the cab cam proves it case closed. Other accidents lawyers have sent legal actions to Millis for bs and Millis had video that they sent to lawyers which protected them and driver. Yea I hate cam but if didnt have could loose all with out video. Drivers years ago lost house and everything becuase of BS lawsuits they did not have video to show truth. I was hit 12 years ago and lost job if had had vid would have been cleared. Companies doing this to protect driver and company would have not been this way without quick check Lawyers

 

System also has another use it is hooked to ECM and sees how you drive and creates a profile. This used to coach and help get more MPG This is what bothers me see data transmitted and think spying but is ECM data uploaded. Trust me if spying on me #### I have done hoping for spying when data trans never happened because if were sure would have heard about.

 

Your profile says driver wannabe on it so before you act like you know anything about anything g get your license, get your training, and get your truck and head out on the highway...make sure you get one with all the cameras...you'll see for yourself.

 

I'm merely pointing out that nobody has come forward with proof. Show me the proof that it is spying on the drivers in the fashion that is being claimed.

Otherwise it's just heresy and paranoid speculation.

 

You are correct in that I do not have my CDL yet. Yet I fail to see the logic in equating a CDL license to asking for proof that the cameras spy on us.

How does time behind the wheel give me the right to ask for proof?.. I look forward to you logical responce

 

When you go home tonight and your sitting in your favorite chair relaxing try to imagine a camera on you with the ability to hear what your saying. It's my understanding that the audio will run for 2 hours after the truck is turned off. Now what possible reason would anyone need to hear what is being said after you stop for the night. Please tell me how that's making it safer for the driver.

 

You want proof that they have cameras in their trucks, sitting on the windshield right in front of the drivers?

Next time you see a Millis truck, look at the windshield.
