Minimum of 5 weeks. Oh and Hope you get a trainer with a T-2000, the cabs are alot roomier. I'm getting one with the T-600 it has a narrower cab. I go out on the 15th, but that is my choosing because I have a few things to take care of at the house befor I go out for the 5 weeks. If you get a trainer from Cartersville then you may get home time to because when they go home you get to to. If your not from Cartersville like me then they will put you in the hotel on the company dime. Most of the people that went through the training with me are going out with there trainer this week. Also all newbies trucks are governed at 62 for a full year, wich kinda sucks but is ok I guess. after the year it goes to 66.

You can go anywhere and get a DOT physical. They don't have a specific doctor or group to go to. If you can find someone to give you the physical, then that's fine with them.

Ok. Thanks. I thought they had a company physical in addition to that once you arrive in training. Thanks again for all the info. Dont mean to beat you up with these remedial questions.

No big deal. I asked all the same questions when I started. One more thing. When you apply and get accepted they will send you a letter with all the stuff you need to get the physical done. All you really need is the medical card that comes with the letter that your doctor fills out for you, and you class A permit which you have to get before you start training.

So there is no physical from them once you arrive. That works for me. I talked to recruiting a couple times now. They have the application but I guess the guy was out of the office yesterday. They said I can check back if I dont hear by friday.
