My husband & I are planning on an orientation with Quest later this month. Nobody has anything positive to say about this company? I'm curious as to why their orientation is 2 weeks long. We were told that 6 days of orientation is different classes such as safety, CSA,etc. Any other info would be appreciated.

2 week orientation?????? Thats the longest I have ever heard of... I have looked at this company for a couple years, talked to a few drivers,,this page is the most negative I have heard. I don't see how its possiable for them to take your pilot reward points,, I am going to look into that. I don't like the auto transmissions or the required per diem,,so, I will not be going with them unless those two things change. I have blue cross blues sheild with the company we are with and we don't pay near the ins cost the guy above was talking about. We drive for USXpress out of Tunnel Hill, GA The company ways are weird but they keep us moving... Wish you the best

I've heard Quest has changed big time recently. Looks like they have started listening to their drivers more and have actually started living up to what they say. I've seen some of the new ads saying unlimited time off. I thought BS! Talked to some of the drivers there and it's actually real. About time they started cleaning up. I noticed a new logo and website too. I may check them out.

No waiting lists for quest that I know of, we worked there for a few months last year, the pay was good if you had hazmat and they paid 900 per week for a 2 week orientation. That was nice. Other than that it is a typical trucking company. Take note there is a 9ft chain link fence with barbed wire around their facility in cartersville. This is to keep out the drivers they have purposefully cheated out of their last pay when they quit. If you work there and decide to quit NEVER GIVE NOTICE! Use your time at home to get you last pay check then quit. No other trucking company's in the area need 9 ft chain link fences or locked security doors to enter the main offices. Why? They don't piss people off... That's all I'm going to say.

In northwest GA there is Quest, Kennesaw, East -West, RRR. May be some more but these I am familiar with.
All are team only Refer carriers:
quest in cartersville hauls mostly LTL or chickens west and produce east
i already commented their pros and cons on this thread
Kennesaw in white, hauls mostly chickens west with occasional stop offs in OKC and Tulsa they stay more southern but also go northwest with carpets sometimes
east west in villa rica hauls chickens with multiple stops on the way west and produce back east
RRR in Calhoun hauls carpets west and produce back east.
Haz Mat not required for Any, quest does pay extra for hazmat. -
Any new info or comments on Quest? Thinking about looking into them but seems shaddy after reading this thread. However, it is a couple years old so maybe things are different.
