any opinions guys?
-
I would go with Con-Way Truckload, that way you might be able to transfer to the freight division and make some real money.
-
do they all hire in your area ??
-
-
Pro - Cons
Cons :
They all are somewhat considered starter companies CON - WAY being the least of that equasion
High turn over ratios - thus they hire students ( that's not a knock on you )
Pros .....
Conway has ability to move up to LTL division
Schneider has a huge freight base
Prime offers refrigerated
Other than that u must look at
1. Home time
2. Wage
3. Avg length of haul
4. Hazmat or no hazmat
5. Equipment
6. Benefits package
What ever you do . DO NOT get thrown into a LP program they will try to offer it but go company only till you have no less than 1 -2 yrs on your own out hereAF461 Thanks this. -
ConWay.........Dry freight, nice equipment, run legal, pay checks are good.
-
Doesn't Con Way pull doubles? Make sure you have that endorsement.
-
Thats the freight division wulfman not the truckload.
wulfman75 Thanks this. -
