well the reason paper logs might die is b/c the big carriers are pushing for elogs to basically kill the small/independents carriers which provide a better and faster service something they(big carriers) can't do b/c of their slow truck and unprofessional drivers aka steering wheel holdders. They are also the one behind the 68 mph governor on all trucks(eventhough theirs run 65 or less). I'm sorry but if it is my equipment I should be the one to determine how slow or fast I want to go, not the goverment and needless to say NOT my slow competitors which only provide quantity of trucks not quality of service. Also idk who you talked to but I know this and is that last week they were deadheading drivers from Winter Haven to Texas and I'm not talking just about one or two.

1. How about .43 loaded, .35 empty
2. $13.75 per hour paid after 2 hours loading, unloading or tankwash.
3. 34 hour resets in company paid hotel
4. layover pay after 15 hours at $13.75 pay 8 hours/ unpaid 10/ pay 8 until you are rolling again.
5. $10 per night sleeper berth pay
6. $20 per load, unload, tankwash (covers the first 2 hours) flat rate
7. $13.75 per hour paid for traffic back ups and weather delays
E logs run 100% legal. In my 4 years here I have found 2000 miles in a week equals roughly $1000 with the extra pay. Its not all about miles and i would rather run less if I can still make money. Some of my best weeks are those where crap happens and i have to sit on the clock.
I don't get to drive a shiny Pete but I like knowing I will at least make some hourly pay when I sit somewhere.

Admakan What the HE** is your problem? I have not mentioned IRT in that post so quit posting your VERSION of how you SEE everything posted as a NEGATIVE about IRT.
Its an OPEN forum , everyone / anyone is allowed to post and again it HAD nothing to do with you !
Big deal about the pic I have posted you seem to be the only one
about it being a glorrified Freightliner.

are you serious?? All I pointed out was that YOU replied on a post about IRT which is the name of this thread. All I posted was what YOU posted, is called quote just in case you don't know. I never said that it had anything to do with me. I ain't
about your pic al I did was point out that YOU were mocking Peterbilts by calling them petermobile and you have a pic of a glorified Freightliner. Lastly if this is an open forum what/who gives you the right to tell me to quit posting things, as long as is not against site rules I can post whatever I feel like posting

Here is what I originally posted "What about the drivers who will work for low $ , get treated like dirt , all just to drive a PETERMOBILE that also contribute to the downward spiral" in response to GROUNDPOUNDERs posting.
Who the heck cares about PETERBILTS and WESTERN STAR pictures, oh wait seem's you do.
Take your precious IRT thread ( late joiner that you are on it ) and put it where the Sun dont shine, so there is no worry that non IRT's might post on it .

Oh and BTW I am home, home every night in my own bed I went back to pushing dirt around on big yellow machines so now you and the rest of the no driving new breed can run whats left of the trucking industry into the ground...

wow is that the best you could come up with or did you need help with that. Regarding the picture all I did were saying that people accept low wages just to drive a Peterbilt(you tried to mock by calling Petermobile) honestly a driver that does that is stupid and the glorified Freightliner came b/c you mock Peterbilts but have a pic of a p.o.c. glorified freightliner. Btw if I joined the conversation late is b/c if you can read you will see that I just joined the forum. Now do you need me to explain to you that it's imposible for me to join a thread if I'm not part of a forum or do you understand that?
