This will be a little off topic, but it's about all I know about Dart.

I can not say anything about the COmpany it's self, but I have to laugh about a driver I met while getting loaded.
We both were getting a load going to the same place. We left same time, and I got tired so I stopped and rested. He kept on going. We both had the same delievery time, and I arrived at the receiver and did not see him around. I was about the 6th Truck in line, and he turned out to be 15th truck in line to be unloaded. They pulled me around ahead of the rest and left him to unload later.

I asked him what happen to him he said he went and partied alittle and lost track of time.

I have personal worked for Dart out of Egan, Mn you will starve.. the truck payments come out daily and you get enough miles to cover truck payments.. you have to pay for everything your Daily payments run you between $85.00 to $120.00 a day. not including Fuel. if you are off for anytime your truck payments still come out daily... If you get a brand new frieghtliner the trucks leak bad.. and they tell you when you brake down that the payments still come out while you are down.. getting advances is very hard. you are allowed $25.00 a day but more then that your out of luck. in 1 week you will give Dart over $4500.00 in expenses. and when you get your daily pay there is nothing for take home.. I have pay settlements that show this.. My advice is find a company job not leasing a truck.. I have about 20years out here and I have been an O/O 3 times its not getting any better on buying Fuel now I paid $4.25 a gallon the other day.. My wife WOLFMANSWIFE had been telling me to get out of O/O and get a company job.. I now work for McExpress out of Jonesboro, Ark. they are straight up company.. and I get a decent weekly pay check. and home as often as I want.. Look them up if your looking for a great company job.. the drivers all love it.. and My Wife highly recommands them.. She's my personal Recruiter.. take care and Good Luck God Bless

This is what I am calling Dart Transit Eagan, Mn headquaters. This is what I founded in my report. From the door it looked like a gift. No money down and they made the first payment. Only to fine out later, I had to pay 300.00 a month for 6 months for the $1795.00 per month payment on a 2007 truck. Which is not in the contract. Add it up $10.00 a day times 30 days equal $300.00. So now the rest of the payments are now $2095.00. Is that like a friend try to help you out they screw everytime.

Next is late charges by the bank, you do not know about this until they decide to cancel your contract. Well, first the dispatch send you on a wild goose chase about 120 miles away from a load that does not exist. My mistake was I accept the load. Then they charge me with a late delivery.
And my contract was canceled. I could and sould write a book about there lease purchase deal. Long story short it SUCKS!

Why is Dart getting $2.80 per mile and paying the the O/O 90cents per mile. Is this Legal? Any Lawyers out ther reading this post I would like to hear from you.

Their are no gifts in business. If you don't have the money for the 1st months lease payment they will lend it to you and you had to sign a loan contract for that. If you cant remember that I caned see how you got can over a late. Dart keeps competent contractors.
