    Yeap is true Shelton trucking have 300 trucks one hundred on the road barely working,the others 100 are in the shop break down ,the other one hundred are split 50 mty whit now drivers on it and the finals other 50 the engine is gone on there way for recycle hahaha hey !! is no joke stay away from this company !!!! They will steal your tires at the shop if u put them brand new on ur truck (for the ones are leasing) company drivers no pay vacation,u make $500 the best week ever $250 to $450 will be ur earnings no tarping pay.but yes u be home every weekend

    A Shelton driver was at the port today waiting to load pipe. He said with over 10 yrs experience they would pay top pay of .40 loaded and .20 empty.

    I asked what the typical deadhead percent is. Guessing, don't keep track of it, he says 25%.

    So, about .37 per mile on a lot of short haul and you are better off staying home and doing that night janitor job!

    No I didn't say that! But I could find better use of my time than babysitting their truck for $100 a day.

    The only money I ever heard to be made over there was copper out of the port up to GA, but I don't know how easy it is to get your foot in on that door.
