I'am a new hire with chizek transport can somebody tell me if i have made a mistake?

    Ok i'm not new to driving but i only have a year i've been with 2 companies since i got my cdl my first was the worst they didnt give me miles i needed and then the other treated me like i was a piece of trash. Now i start on monday with chizek and i'm worrying that im going to get back into the same thing if anyone can tell me something that would be awsome thanks

    There is another member here that does drive for Chizek. He's doing pretty good with them, but he doesn't like the fact that he ends up in WI a lot when he lives in the south! He may just pop in and give ya some info. I know the guy pretty well, and the only real complaint I have heard from him is all the time in WI.

    Do not go to work for Chizek Transport !!!!! I woked for this company over 20 years ago. absolutely the worst company ive ever worked for ! Ive been driving for 28 years; the last 15 driving for a company located near Chizek. If you go here you WILL be sorry !!!!!!

    How on earth are you going to tell anyone how bad a company is & to stay away that you were with 20yrs ago? Don't you think in 20 yrs things change?

    I work for them and they keep me fairly busy probly averaging 2700 to 2800 miles a week

    Some weeks more not many that are less than that

    If somethings broke they have no problem fixing it that I've dealt with

    I hear stories when I'm around other drivers but you hear that anywhere

    They have a problem communicating but not real bad

    They have scales on probly 70% of the trailers and probly 50% of their tractors are clutchless autos set at 63.25 mph

    They are getting away from the autos with the new ones.. the new trucks are cascadias

    A lot of drop n hook around wisc,mi,oh and the live loads we do I haven't sat a lot waiting

    Several menards loads and lots of paper loads

    they don't want you running toll roads so you'll see a lot of 20 and 30 in indiana and ohio

    Trucks are pretty clean and trailers are usually in decent shape
