It's the wife. He's still on the road - on the way back from a 1700 mile run to Chicago, IL and Eau Claire, WI. Before he left, they changed out the fuel tank and gassed the AC up for him. Other than some shudders and shakes when pulling heavy loads and being tiny inside, he said it's not too bad.

New truck is great i just wish they would get this scheduling thing better. I have been out on saturday for 5 consecutive weeks and this is going to be the 2nd week in a row that my first trip for the week doesnt deliver until wednesday. Losing to much time that i should be out driving. With the exception of my training run i have not gotten to leave on a monday one time. Havent gotten any of those sunday night monday morning deliveries either. To much wasted time when I could be out there making money. Lots of loads that we could be running still going over to 3 Rivers Express. They deliver as many or more on mondays than we do.This is just a completely different style of trucking that I am not quite used to yet I am Glad to hear you got the fuel tank fixed. That was my biggest concern. No way that would have made it through road check this week.Hopefully they get you put into something with some room in it pretty soon. That truck felt so tiny inside and the turning radius was terrible at some of the customers that had real tight spaces. I certainly got some great practice back in on backing and making a truck fit in small places with that thing.

yeah leaving on tuesday is kind of odd and makes it hard to get in before the weekend.the turning radius on the truck has had me in some bad situations but hopefully it won't be for too long.going to be leaving about 5 or 530 tonight for an indianapolis delivery tomorrow morning.i didn't get back until 2 on sunday so they couldn't send me out until today but it seems like tuesday through saturday might be the norm for most of the fleet.

My load doesnt deliver 9am tomorrow morning in columbus ohio but it loaded last night so Im up and at em this morning. Going to go ahead and get on the road pretty soon and get up there and get a good parking space and get my 10 in and sleep in a bit in the morning and hopefully knock it out. I have 6 stops on this one. Hoping i make it through Road Check without bother. Truck seems to be in proper order so maybe i wont have any issues. Hoping to get it knocked out and get back and get a move again first thing thursday morning. I need some miles. Even with 2 trips crammed in last week I came up way shorter than i am happy with on miles.

had a bit of a short week myself.still waiting on this weeks dispatch but the ac belt was squealing so that needs to be fixed first.seems like there are a lot of problems in the truck that keep popping up and need to be fixed.hope i won't be in it too much longer.still getting the hang of this style of trucking but it is not too bad.some of the places that you are expected to put a truck has me scratching my head but i have managed so far.my gps took me down some roads that i should not have been on but looking for stores there really is no other choice but to use it.the one i delivered to on saturday was literally in the middle of a hay field.it is challenging but at least it is not boring.

Yeah, Im still not completely down with this kind of trucking. Im getting pretty good at it but it can stress a person out if you let it. Im still having a hard time with not having any wiggle room at all with these elogs. You are 100% correct about some of the places we have to wiggle these trucks into.I am definitely turning into a pretty solid creative backer.I had to deliver right from the city street in Toledo recently when the president was in town and school was letting out. Not an easy task at all in that kind of traffic. I got my dispatch today but for the 3rd week in a row I dont deliver until wednesday. Kind of frustrating. The money has been pretty good but could be so much better if we could get full weeks in.
