Well, hopefully this is the first of many updates. We'll see how this goes. As I've put in the forum before, I have 14 years of Exp driving in the Air Force. I just recently retired and now am driving for NNT Transportation out of King George, VA. This is a small outfit with 39 trucks. We get paid on percentage so we'll see how that goes.

I started driving on Tuesday. I had to dead head from King George to Norfolk, VA. I picked up at Norfolk Navel station and drove to Dillon, SC. I got up this morning and drove to Charlston AFB, SC for my delivery. After the delivery, I had to pick up just up the road at JW aluminum. I drove from there to Madison, GA and am stopped for my 10 hr brake at the TA off of exit 114. I have to deliver to a steel place in the morning.

I will update this thread daily. Hopfully we can get some folks in here that want to know about NNT or just to follow...

    Take care,
    AF461

WOW, talk about a crazy start to driving for this company.....

While I was in Madison, GA, the weather got crazy. The big tornado missed the truck stop by just a mile. I've never seen weather that crazy in my life.

So, after the crazy weather, I left Madison and drove to Atlanta. Dropped off that load and then drover to Warner Robins, GA. Picked up at the Air Force base there and then drove back over to Charleston, SC. I delivered my load first thing this morning and then picked up my next load in Goose Creek, SC. I'm now headed to Mesquite, TX for a deliver on Monday morning. I am now stopped for the night at the petro in Mccalla, AL. After I drop this load in Texas, I have a load going back to Delaware.... HOME TIME!
So far the loads have been good. This company has kept me rolling and after talking to a handful of our drivers it seems as though i can expect this all the time.
