Ask away. I've run OTR, dedicated, regional and local since I've been here. Currently running dedicated. Use to run your area alot. Had a dedicated run to Monroe, LaGrange and some other place I can't remember in GA.

I've called the phone number on their website a couple of times and only get a voice mail message to leave a call back number and a brief message.. left one Friday and again today (Monday, July 30th) and haven't gotten a call back. Was wondering how difficult it was to get started with them in getting your application in? Also wanted to know about thier orientation and travel to orientation. Equipment & servicing of the equipment. Getting home, probably doesn't apply to you since your running a day dedicated... anything that you want to add. Thanks Colorato.

I PM'd you some contact info. That link on the website is newer and I honestly couldn't tell you where it takes you.
Being in GA I don't know if they have you do orientation in Indy or SC. I'd imagine Indy. It's 3 days long and since you have past experience on the 3rd day they give you a truck and send you on your way. It's all pretty common stuff. Drug test, videos, paperwork etc. Nothing out of the ordinary. They will put you up in a hotel while at orientation. I only live 75 miles from the terminal so I didn't stay overnight or have to travel far so I can't say what they pay for travel but that contact person can.
Equipment is 99.9% Freightliner cascadia and columbia's. Oldest tractor I ever drove was an 06 that had 565,000 on it. They are getting new trucks every month but honestly usually only 3-5 at a time. My current truck is a 2013 Cascadia and my other was a 06 Columbia. Anytime I needed something fixed it got done. Even if I was on the road it would get fixed. Never had an issue getting items fixed just sometimes wish the shop was quicker but I think every driver thinks the shop guys are slow.
When I ran OTR and regional I was home every weekend. Never missed one. Every driver I've ever spoke with said they get home every weekend and if they don't it's because they wanted to stay out.
Only thing I'd add is this company is big on dedicated runs. If you get on one you'll be good and your miles will be good. When I ran OTR and regional miles ranged from weeks of 3300 to 1500. There's freight but it's mostly brokered so it can be hit and miss.
But there's money to be made here. The owner is a solid guy and if you ever have issues he's just a call or email away.

This is good information, thanks. And I did see the private message. My concern is the weekly pay, I have a target number and I'd like to be consistent in that number. If there is none, then there isn't much sense of making the switch... the ups & downs in pay is what killls a driver out here. I understand freight business, been in or around it for many many years but the average needs to be an average... not so many hills and valleys... least not for me any way.

Closing in on my 1 yr anniversary with Venture, they are by far the best trucking company that I have been with. Just picked up my new 2013 Cascadia this past Tuesday.
